LifeVersations

One day, you'll wish you could hear their voice again.

LifeVersations records the life stories of people you love.  An experienced, engaging and caring interviewer will come to you to record a professional, full-length podcast of your loved one's life.

More than a Recording

The first thing we forget is the sound of a loved ones voice.

LifeVersations exists to preserve not just what people said, but how they said it. The voice, the cadence, the stories only they could tell. These recordings are not products .

They are heirlooms.

Our Conversational Process

Coffee Shop Chat
Initial Discovery

We begin with a deep dive into your history, identifying the core narratives and stories that define your journey.

Meaningful Dialogue

A seasoned caring interviewer facilitates a natural, intimate conversation that captures the essence of your voice and purpose.

Elderly Man Listening
Preservation & Legacy

We finalize the recordings with meticulous editing and audio engineering, ensuring your legacy is preserved for generations to come.

Your loved one's story will be captured by a 30-year broadcast veteran and former host of NPR's All Things Considered on Northwest Public Broadcasting, Thom Kokenge.

This is an example of what you will receive when your purchase a Legacy LifeVersations interview. Through the intimacy of audio, Chris Rader has this interview to share with family, friends, while preserving her voice and stories for future generations. (This is being shared by agreement with Chris Rader, thank you.)

A picture captures how someone looked.

A voice captures who they were.

Book your LifeVersations interview now to preserve a voice today.

With a LifeVersation you'll get more than a picture can provide.

You will hear their voices and warm your heart with memories preserved for generations.

"I have just listened... and its absolutely lovely to hear her voice...it brought tears to my eyes...

The Visionary Behind the Mic

Thom Nice.jpeg

Hi, I'm Thom Kokenge, founder of LifeVersations. For more than 30 years I worked as a broadcaster, including 15 years hosting NPR's All Things Considered at Northwest Public Broadcasting. In that time I interviewed musicians, politicians, artists, governors, the famous and regular folks from every walk of life.

But the interview that matters most to me is the one I almost never got to do — sitting down with my own mother before her stories faded away.

I started LifeVersations because every person has stories worth preserving, and the people who love them deserve to hear those stories in their own voice. That's what I do. I'd be honored to do it for your family.

Click below to start your session. I look forward to hearing from you.
